Owner: That'll be it for you today?

Zeke Landon: Unless you got pork rinds in the back.

Owner: Yeah, we get more on Tuesday, maybe.

Zeke Landon: Then I'll be back on Tuesday, maybe.

Owner: You look familiar. You been in before?

Zeke Landon: Something like that.

Owner: You a climber? If you're gonna do Gunnar's Hill, we got some great new gloves you sh...

Zeke Landon: Nope. Just a hike. Crazy. Still no trace after, what, four years?

Owner: Oh, that plane? It ain't missing.

Zeke Landon: Oh, yeah?

Owner: The Russians took it. Plucked it right out of the sky.

Zeke Landon: Makes sense… Okay, you have a great day.

Owner: You bet. See you soon.

Michaela Stone: The sleep did you good. Your colour looks better… You want some hot chocolate? Zeke.

Zeke Landon: Am I dead?

Michaela Stone: No, but... That would be easier to explain.

Zeke Landon: A person can't freeze to death in a cave and then, a year later, walk out alive. Not on planet Earth. This is Earth, right?

Michaela Stone: Yes, it is. And you did.

Zeke Landon: How?

Michaela Stone: We're still trying to figure that out. Look, why don't you walk me through everything that you remember? You said that you were hiking, right?

Zeke Landon: And then this just monster blizzard hit, came out of nowhere.

Michaela Stone: So then you took shelter in the cave?

Zeke Landon: I was packed in. I mean, I didn't have the tools or the strength to break through the snow and ice. I tried.

Michaela Stone: That's where you got the cuts, from trying to dig yourself out?

Zeke Landon: Mm. Didn't work.

Michaela Stone: Can I change those? So, then you remember two weeks passing?

Zeke Landon: Thought that was it for me.

Michaela Stone: How'd you get out of the cave?

Zeke Landon: Earthquake or avalanche or something. Whole mountain shook, and the ice broke away enough for me to crawl out and, make my way to the first place I found. And to the dead girl I kept telling myself to find.

Michaela Stone: Except I wasn't dead. And I heard you.

Zeke Landon: And my list of questions grows.

Ben Stone: Well, we can talk about all that on the ride back to the city. Grace and Cal are loaded in. Let's hit it.

Zeke Landon: I-I think I'm actually just gonna stay up here for a while. This place has great cocoa.

Ben Stone: We're taking Cal straight to the hospital. We know someone there that can have a look at you as well.

Zeke Landon: I'm fine, really. I just need some time to process everything before I go back to civilization.

Ben Stone: Zeke, you need to come. We don't know if that's infected...

Zeke Landon: Sorry. I'm not going. Not yet.

Michaela Stone: I'll stay with him.

Ben Stone: What? Excuse us.

Ben Stone: What are you doing? This guy's got to come with us so Saanvi can check him out. He could hold the key to everything that happened to us. 828 defied the known laws of physics. We've got to figure out how the hell a cave did the same thing. There has to be a connection.

Michaela Stone: Yeah, exactly. And since he's clearly not coming, I'll stay here and figure out as much as we can.

Ben Stone: All right. I-I-It... Just... Find out as many details as you can about what happened to him. Look for specific times, locations...

Michaela Stone: Oh, you mean like a detective? Ben, I got this. Go take care of your family… What? Why are you hesitating?

Ben Stone: What's the first thing you wanted to do when the plane landed and we found out?

Michaela Stone: Contact our family and Jared.

Ben Stone: Exactly. We have been in a cabin for eight hours with Zeke. He hasn't even asked to use the phone? We don't know anything about this guy. He could be part of some elaborate plan by the Major.

Michaela Stone: Cal and I had a calling about him. Ben, I think we can trust him.

Ben Stone: All right. I'll call Jared, see if he can come up...

Michaela Stone: No. No... I don't think we should involve him. It's complicated. I just... I don't want to be around him right now.

Ben Stone: Okay. You sure you're all right?

Michaela Stone: Yeah. Go. I got this.

Ben Stone: Be safe.

Saanvi Bahl: He's gonna be fine. Slight cold symptoms. Nothing a good night's sleep won't knock out.

Grace Stone: Thank you for coming in on your day off.

Saanvi Bahl: It's no problem. I wanted to check on some patients anyway.

Grace Stone: Don't you ever take a vacation?

Saanvi Bahl: Well, I went to Jamaica.

Grace Stone: Right. I guess that kind of went sideways.

Saanvi Bahl: Actually, it went sideways even before the plane disappeared. The person I was supposed to go with... Just didn't work out.

Ben Stone: Right. 8B. The seat beside you was empty. I can't believe I never...

Saanvi Bahl: Yeah. Okay, um, Cal, I think you're ready to go. Although I think Bernadette just refilled her famous candy jar at the nurses' station.

Ben Stone: Come straight back.

Grace Stone: One. Only one.

Saanvi Bahl: I just... I can't believe it happened again. What's his name?

Grace Stone: Zeke.

Saanvi Bahl: Okay. I need to run the tests on him to see if he has the same blood marker that we do.

Ben Stone: I was hoping you'd say that because I don't normally carry things like this around with me.

Grace Stone: I hope it's enough to test.

Ben Stone: Just please be careful. We have no idea if the Major's watching us. If she finds out how Cal led us to the cabin and Zeke... S-She can never know that.

Grace Stone: No one can.

Cal Stone: Know what?

Grace Stone: Uh, nothing. Do you want to get going?

Cal Stone: Yeah.

Ben Stone: Thank Danny for the truck.

Grace Stone: If I see him, I will.

Cal Stone: Aren't you coming home with us? I'm sure Mom would be okay with that. Right, Mom?

Ben Stone: Yeah, I could hang out for a while. That works with your plans, right?

Grace Stone: Yes, of course.

Cal Stone: What does that mean?

Ben Stone: Just that there are some very ignorant people in the world.

Zeke Landon: So, if years went by and we didn't feel it, where were we? In some kind of suspended animation?

Michaela Stone: Uh, we are still waiting for the official handbook to come out on that.

Zeke Landon: But there are theories, right?

Michaela Stone: About the plane? Oh, yeah. Tons. Um, aliens, wormholes, cryogenic freezing, mass hypnosis... Honestly, no one knows.

Zeke Landon: Hm. And you just stepped right back into a life that had moved forward half a decade?

Michaela Stone: Slammed back in, maybe. I came back to a world that had completely moved on without me… But I had my family to ground me… What about you? Do you have anyone?

Zeke Landon: Nope. No family. Tale as old as time.

Michaela Stone: Someone then? Friends, co-workers?

Zeke Landon: And what? I just... Call them out of the blue and say, "Hey, remember me? I went on a hike," but then a dead lady from a picture told me I skipped ahead a year. "You want to go to Olive Garden?"

Michaela Stone: Zeke, look. I know that it's a lot to process, but you have to trust me...

Zeke Landon: Look, you're amazing, and I appreciate everything you've done for me. But right now, I have two options. Either you're insane or I am, and right now, I prefer the former.

Michaela Stone: I know that this sounds crazy, but something happened to you in that cave, and something happened to me on that plane. Zeke, somehow, we're the same.

Michaela Stone: Go back.

Zeke Landon: Go back.

Zeke Landon: Did you just hear "Go back"? What the hell was that?

Michaela Stone: That was a calling.

Zeke Landon: You and I, we were both...

Michaela Stone: Yeah, under the night sky, filled with stars. I know.

Zeke Landon: And you... You heard my voice say, "Go back"?

Michaela Stone: Yeah, I heard your voice, which isn't usually how these work.

Zeke Landon: Usually? There's a usually?

Michaela Stone: Ever since the plane came back, a lot of us have been experiencing... Callings.

Zeke Landon: Callings? You mean voices in your head?

Michaela Stone: Voices, visions. They lead us to uncover things. That's how Cal knew where to find you and how I heard you say, "Find her."

Zeke Landon: Right, there is that.

Michaela Stone: But we both heard it, which I think means we're supposed to figure this out together.

Zeke Landon: "Go back"? W-What does that even mean? Go back where?

Michaela Stone: I don't know. Maybe you're supposed to go back to the cave. How far away is it?

Zeke Landon: Probably about an hour hike. But I almost died in that cave. I think I m-might just sit this one out.

Michaela Stone: No, we both heard it, which means we're both gonna go.

Zeke Landon: Can I rest for a bit first, tough guy?

Michaela Stone: Yeah, of course.

Zeke Landon: And we're gonna need some supplies.

Michaela Stone: Okay, I'll go. Like what?

Zeke Landon: Water, compass, um, flashlights... Pork rinds...

Michaela Stone: I'm sorry. What?

Zeke Landon: Pork rinds. Delicious salty snack. They still make those, right?

Michaela Stone: Yeah, unfortunately. Um, your first craving back is...

Zeke Landon: I'm a man of many mysteries.

Michaela Stone: Yeah, I don't think I can handle any more mystery.

Cal Stone: Olive?

Olive Stone: Cal! Oh, my gosh. I'm so glad that you're back.

Cal Stone: Ow.

Olive Stone: But I'm mad at you for scaring me like that.

Steve Stone: Come here. Oh, God, you really scared me. I love you very much. You know that?

Ben Stone: You sure you're okay?

Cal Stone: I know.

Olive Stone: Well, we made Rice Krispie treats.

Cal Stone: Yep.

Steve Stone: Don't eat 'em all. Well, we had to do something.

Grace Stone: Ben.

Grace Stone: Are we gonna tell Olive about Cal's callings?

Ben Stone: No, we can't take that risk.

Grace Stone: Right, but keeping Olive isolated from the rest of the family, that has its own dangers.

Ben Stone: I know, Grace. But people died. Until we know for sure it's unrelated, I...

Grace Stone: Wait. The people who died... That happened right away?

Ben Stone: Within a few days of learning about the callings.

Grace Stone: Okay, so... Let's just make sure this theory is definitively disproven. All I have to do is... Live, right? So now what?

Ben Stone: I wish I knew.

Michaela Stone: Do you have any pork rinds?

Owner: Yeah. Check over there. There might be one or two left.

Michaela Stone: Can I take this?

Owner: Sure. Real tragedy. Body's never been found. 'Course, I got a pretty good idea what really happened.

Michaela Stone: What?

Owner: He offed himself.

Michaela Stone: Yeah? Why do you think that?

Owner: His sister, Chloe, died on this same mountain in 2006. Cursed family, I guess.

Michaela Stone: Zeke?

Ben Stone: How'd you get that many letters? Wait a second.

Grace Stone: This... Excuse me. Mind your own letters.

Olive Stone: Peel.

Ben Stone: No. What?

Grace Stone: You guys keep playing. I'll get the door.

Grace Stone: Jared.

Jared Vasquez: Hey, Grace. Sorry to just show up.

Grace Stone: No, not at all. Come on in.

Jared Vasquez: How's Cal?

Grace Stone: See for yourself.

Ben Stone: Jared.

Jared Vasquez: Hey. Hi, guys. 'Sup, little man? How's it going?

Cal Stone: Ugh. I have a "Q."

Ben Stone: Other than that, he's great. Hey. Thanks for what you did yesterday.

Jared Vasquez: Of course. Have you guys heard from Mick? I'm starting to get worried, actually.

Grace Stone: Uh, she's fine.

Ben Stone: The cell service up there is pretty spotty.

Jared Vasquez: Why's she still up there?

Ben Stone: Said she wanted some alone time, decompress.

Jared Vasquez: Really?

Xer: Freaks!

Jared Vasquez: Everyone okay?

Ben Stone: Stay inside!

Grace Stone: Just... Don't get up.

Jared Vasquez: Hey! Hey, stay here. I'm going after them.

Michaela Stone: Hey! They were out of pork rinds.

Zeke Landon: Figures.

Michaela Stone: Look. I get it, okay? The first time that I had a calling, I wanted to pretend that it wasn't happening, too. But you can't just run away from this.

Zeke Landon: I'm not. I just sort of walking away.

Michaela Stone: To go where? Your family?

Zeke Landon: I told you. I don't have any family.

Michaela Stone: What about Chloe?

Zeke Landon: My sister? Yeah, she was family. She was the best version of family. And she's dead. How did you...

Michaela Stone: This was still hanging at the bait shop. Guy there really likes to talk.

Zeke Landon: Oh, I remember.

Michaela Stone: Look, Zeke, I'm sorry, okay? I know how hard that kind of loss can be.

Zeke Landon: No, you don't know. After Chloe died, my family was ripped apart from the inside out, and this whole area is a constant reminder of that. So what I'd really like to do right now is to leave this place and to go find the nearest bar.

Michaela Stone: Look, I'm sorry, Zeke. I need you to show me where the cave is. I can't explain why exactly, but I know that we need to do it together. I'm trusting you. I'm asking for you to trust me.

Zeke Landon: Fine. I'll take you to the cave. But then I need to get the hell off this mountain, okay?

Michaela Stone: Okay. Oh, and, uh, by the way, I lied.

Ben Stone: And that's all it recorded before they ruined the camera.

Jared Vasquez: We got the brick and the paint can. Hopefully we can get the prints off them.

Captain Riojas: Hope so, 'cause we can't I.D. them from the footage. They knew what they were doing.

Jared Vasquez: Yeah, they had a getaway plan. I mean, I lost them pretty quickly.

Grace Stone: Kids are coping all right, I think.

Captain Riojas: And we'll post a car outside, make sure these punks don't come back.

Grace Stone: Thank you. I mean, who would do this? Do you think it could be those crazy people who stand around, holding up signs, like that woman who came up to Cal on the street?

Ben Stone: No, they think we're practically deities. They're trying to, I don't know, worship us. I just don't see them throwing bricks through our window. But we need to find out who did.

Captain Riojas: Let us do the police work, okay?

Jared Vasquez: Guys, we'll get them, all right?

Michaela Stone: How much farther?

Zeke Landon: We're close now. It's just ahead… Here it is.

Michaela Stone: It's amazing.

Zeke Landon: I'm not a big fan… Got a thing for rocks?

Michaela Stone: I'm sending it to my brother.

Zeke Landon: Ah. He's got a thing for rocks?

Michaela Stone: He's got a thing for puzzles, and this cave just so happens to be part of a really, really big one. Come on. Let's see what the calling wants us to find.

Ben Stone: Hey, Ollie. How you... Holding up with all this?

Olive Stone: I'm okay. You know, it's kinda hard to believe that there are people out there that hate you and Cal.

Ben Stone: They don't hate us. They... Hate an idea.

Olive Stone: The idea that you came back... Different?

Ben Stone: But w-we didn't. We're the exact same people who left.

Olive Stone: I know. Except for the callings.

Ben Stone: Olive, how did you...

Olive Stone: Cal told me... A long time ago.

Ben Stone: And here you are, living.

Olive Stone: He said it was like trying to keep a secret from himself. And he couldn't do it.

Ben Stone: The twin thing.

Olive Stone: Dad, you could've told me. You could've trusted me.

Ben Stone: No. Honey, this has nothing to do with trust. I trust you infinitely… I was trying to protect you.

Olive Stone: Look, I know I don't get the callings like you and Cal. But this? This is happening to all of us.

Ben Stone: Okay. Starting now, it's a wide-open book between you and me. No more secrets. Deal?

Olive Stone: Deal.

Zeke Landon: Doesn't look like a time-space portal, does it?

Michaela Stone: No, it looks like a cave.

Zeke Landon: This is where I decided not to burn your picture.

Michaela Stone: Oh, thank you.

Zeke Landon: No, thank you. Your photo was the one thing that kept me going.

Michaela Stone: I'm, uh, not totally sure what we're supposed to find.

Zeke Landon: Yeah, me either.

Michaela Stone: Hey, Zeke, you can't just...

Zeke Landon: Go back. Go back.

Michaela Stone: What the hell?

Zeke Landon: Why again?

Michaela Stone: I don't know. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe it's not about the cave. I don't know. The calling said to go back, but to go back where? The stars. We were hearing your voice. Zeke, what do "stars" mean to you? Zeke.

Zeke Landon: I gave it to Chloe for her 9th birthday. She loved it so much. And after s... I've worn it ever since.

Michaela Stone: The calling wasn't about the cave. It was about your sister… You came back here because of her.

Zeke Landon: Step 5.

Michaela Stone: I don't...

Zeke Landon: Alcoholics Anonymous. 12 steps? I was stuck at 5... "Admit to a higher power, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs."

Michaela Stone: Zeke, what did you come here to admit?

Zeke Landon: That I killed her. I didn't mean to. But I killed my little sister.

Ben Stone: Hey. Hey.

Saanvi Bahl: Oh.

Ben Stone: Sorry.

Saanvi Bahl: Hi. Thank you for coming.

Ben Stone: Uh, if you couldn't say it over the phone, I assume you have news.

Saanvi Bahl: He's one of us. Zeke has the same ischemic blood marker.

Ben Stone: So he wasn't lying.

Saanvi Bahl: Whatever happened to us on that plane also happened to Zeke in his cave.

Ben Stone: Okay. Okay, w-we need to look for any common properties between the plane and the cave... Uh, size, dimensions, uh, I don't know, mineral composition, ley lines, anything.

Saanvi Bahl: I've already started cross-referencing maps of the area with weather data from 2017. There was an electrical storm in the center of this blizzard, Ben. It's extremely rare, but it can happen.

Ben Stone: Dark lightning?

Saanvi Bahl: I can't prove it, but it tracks.

Ben Stone: Zeke said he felt something like an earthquake. Maybe that was the terrestrial equivalent of the turbulence.

Saanvi Bahl: This is so huge. We have an entirely new data point. So, we can focus our research on finding any similarities between the two events, maybe more.

Ben Stone: Meaning what?

Saanvi Bahl: Aftershock theory. The plane was the earthquake. This is the aftershock.

Ben Stone: Jared got 'em.

Saanvi Bahl: Got who?

Ben Stone: Uh, some people spray-painted an "X" on our front door and then threw a brick through our window.

Saanvi Bahl: Ben, oh, my God. Is everyone okay?

Ben Stone: Yeah, for now. But these people seem to really hate us. They don't even think we're human. Please be careful. I worry about you. Kind of wishing that 8B was still around.

Saanvi Bahl: Ben, the world as we know it, from a scientific standpoint, has changed. I am neck-deep in it. This is exactly where I want to be. This is my happy place.

Ben Stone: Just please be careful.

Michaela Stone: What do you mean you killed her?

Zeke Landon: I was 15. I thought I was too old to come camping with my family. Chloe wasn't allowed to go to the ravine, so I said I would take her. But then... Then I got a phone call from some girl I barely knew. I should've said, "I'll call you back in an hour," but I was stupid... And selfish. And I told my little sister, "Stop bugging me. I'm on the phone." Those were the last words I ever said to her. Less than an hour later, they pulled her dead body up. There's a memorial in her honour where she died, but I've never had the guts to go see it... Let alone tell my parents what I did. I destroyed my entire family. I've never told anyone. And it is eating me alive with guilt.

Michaela Stone: Zeke, you were 15 years old.

Zeke Landon: No. P-Please, don't... Don't do that. Don't try to tell me it wasn't my fault.

Michaela Stone: No, it was. It was your fault… My best friend was killed in a car accident… I was driving, and I had... I'd been drinking… So, yeah, no matter what the world wants to tell me, it was my fault.

Zeke Landon: So, how do you move forward?

Michaela Stone: Step 5.

Zeke Landon: I think I might know what this voice wants. Maybe I'm supposed to go back to Chloe's memorial, to where she died.

Michaela Stone: Okay.

Cody Webber: So, why am I being interrogated and not these passengers? Two of them stole a damn airplane and were gonna fly into who knows what till the military finally shot it out of the sky.

Ben Stone: This guy's prints are on the paint canister.

Jared Vasquez: He sells 'em, and he touches all of 'em. And he says he has an alibi. We'll look into it.

Ben Stone: So you don't think he's involved?

Jared Vasquez: Oh, he's involved. Look at this. A few days ago, he registered an anti-828 website.

Cody Webber: So, what do they do? They released these passengers, these imposters, send them off like seeds in the wind... Seeds of hate, destruction, terrorism. We need to track down every one of them and stop them before it's too late. If the government won't do it, the people will.

Ben Stone: 900 people on this site. Can we have it shut down?

Jared Vasquez: It's not the only one, Ben. Ever since Daly stole that plane, the idea that 828 passengers are terrorists is starting to spread, and fast.

Ben Stone: We're the terrorists? Nine of us, who were experimented on like lab rats, are laying catatonic in a facility under false identities for their own protection. Kelly Taylor was murdered for coming back. Harvey Stein jumped off a building. We're not the bad guys here. We just want to be left the hell alone.

Detective Mendez: Hey, Vasquez, got an update on the armored car homicide.

Jared Vasquez: Give me a sec… Sorry. Different case. Look, Ben. Why don't you go home? There's nothing you can do here right now.

Ben Stone: Sounds like there's nothing anyone can do.

Jared Vasquez: We might have to let him walk today, but we'll get him. Just give us some time.

Zeke Landon: Chloe, I, uh... I... No, I can't do this.

Michaela Stone: Okay. Okay. Why don't you just tell me about her instead?

Zeke Landon: Oh, this is where I talk about how sweet and kind and smart she was, right?

Michaela Stone: I don't know. Was she?

Zeke Landon: No. I mean, she was smart. But God, she was bossy… She used to get this look on her face, and I swear we would all just step aside… One time at dinner, my parents were onto me about my grades, not living up to my potential, and Chloe summoned this massive burp. I mean, like, the mother of all belches… Everyone was laughing, but my mom was like, "Chloe," a-and Chloe turned to answer, but instead let out another one. And she leaned over to me, and she said, "You owe me big-time." And she was right. I do owe her… After my parents put this in, they kept wanting me to come up here and build a cairn. It's a little stone monument… I used to build 'em with Chloe. She called them "fairy towers."

Michaela Stone: Let's build one.

Zeke Landon: Yeah? Okay. Can't just use any old rock. We need flat surfaces, starting with the biggest, flattest rock we can find.

Michaela Stone: Okay.

Zeke Landon: And the stacking is precise.

Michaela Stone: All right.

Ben Stone: Well, my plan may not be much, but the new doorbell kicks ass.

Olive Stone: Oh, you're crushing it.

Ben Stone: Here. I'll get that. What's this peacock?

Olive Stone: It's for my mythology class.

Ben Stone: I think it may be more than that.

Olive Stone: What do you mean?

Ben Stone: Okay. A few weeks ago, I had a calling... A vision... Of a peacock. This... This can't be a coincidence.

Olive Stone: Well, what do you want to know? All this ancient symbolism stuff is kinda my jam.

Ben Stone: Well, I've done some research, and peacocks are an early Christian and Byzantine symbol for resurrection.

Olive Stone: Well, they probably adopted it from the Greeks and Romans, who thought peacocks represented immortality. They were also messengers for the goddess Juno.

Ben Stone: Messengers. This is a message. Tell me more about Juno.

Grace Stone: Ben? Have you seen your phone?

Ben Stone: No. Why?

Grace Stone: Jared just texted. They let Cody Webber go.

Ben Stone: You know who I am?

Cody Webber: Yeah, I do. What the hell are you doing here?

Ben Stone: You came to my home to deliver a message. Now I have one for you… Stay away from my family.

Cody Webber: Sure, we'll stay away on one condition. You explain to us exactly why you came back.

Ben Stone: I had no control over this.

Cody Webber: Uh-huh. I suppose your pilot friend had no control over the airplane he stole… All of you are just a ticking time bomb… It's a cute kid. I wonder if he bleeds.

Ben Stone: If you come anywhere near a member of my family again, then you will know exactly what someone who has already died once... Is willing to do… Officers. Look. Look at what they're posting. These are innocent people they're threatening.

Cody Webber: Is that right? You come into my place of business, threaten me, destroy my property? And it was all live-streamed.

Grace Stone: Hey, love? You should really stay inside like we talked about.

Cal Stone: How long are they gonna protect us?

Grace Stone: I don't know. A while? What's up, Calamander? Sweetie, talk to me. What is it? Are you scared?

Cal Stone: What's wrong with me? Am I a freak?

Grace Stone: No. Of course not. Cal, you can't listen to those people. They don't know you.

Cal Stone: I don't know me, either.

Grace Stone: I do. I know you.

Cal Stone: But you don't know where I went or how I came back. How do you know I'm still me?

Grace Stone: Yeah, you're right. There are a lot of things I don't know. But I know exactly who you are. You're the little boy who spent the first three weeks of preschool peeking out from behind my leg. The kid who once put his hand into this metal grate to pull out a Matchbox car and cut his arm... Right here.

Cal Stone: It was my third...

Grace Stone: Third-best Matchbox car? I know. Because I know you. I would know if you weren't you. A mom would know… I can see right into your heart, and you're you. You're my little boy, my very same little boy.

Cal Stone: But now I can do some weird stuff.

Grace Stone: Some pretty awesome stuff. You want to know what my favourite awesome thing you can do is? Make a killer lasagna. What do you say? You want to help?

Jared Vasquez: We were monitoring his website. I had a squad car posted a block away just waiting for him to slip up.

Ben Stone: But instead...

Ben Stone: If you ever come anywhere near a member of my family again, you will know exactly what someone who has already died once is willing to do.

Jared Vasquez: Because of your little performance, his website's doubled its traffic in the last hour, and it's growing by the minute. Ben, you played right into their hands. And you used me to get his information, didn't you? Took it right off my police report.

Ben Stone: I'm sorry, Jared, but you know me. I'm not gonna just sit back and wait for the next bad thing to happen to my family.

Jared Vasquez: You can't go looking for it, either. This is a desk appearance ticket. They're letting you walk, but if this happens again, I can't help you. Neither can Michaela.

Zeke Landon: I think this is exactly what I needed to do, and yet I don't feel any better.

Michaela Stone: Yeah, it's not magic. It's not gonna change right away. But it begins to feel less heavy. It's a start.

Zeke Landon: I don't think there's anyone else who can understand this, could understand me. Thank you.

Michaela Stone: You're welcome.

Michaela Stone: Go back. Go back.

Zeke Landon: Your voice.

Michaela Stone: My voice.

Zeke Landon: We're not done yet, are we?

Michaela Stone: Last time, we heard your voice. But this time we heard mine, so maybe you're supposed to come back with me.

Zeke Landon: Go back where?

Michaela Stone: I don't know. Back home? Back to the world?

Zeke Landon: I'm not sure the world wants me back. You have no idea how miserable I made everyone. They do not want to see me again.

Michaela Stone: Zeke, your parents lost both of their children. Could you imagine what they would do to get one of them back?

Zeke Landon: Maybe. But just not yet. I need to do a little work first. If this truly is my second chance, I want to make it count… I'll go back with you. But me going back into the world? That's for another day.

Michaela Stone: Okay.

Zeke Landon: Goodbye, Chlo. I love you.

Ben Stone: Sorry. I should've knocked.

Grace Stone: No, it's fine. Besides, I saw you on the new camera you installed. Thank you. You don't have to do this.

Ben Stone: I do, actually. 'Cause it's the only thing I can do… Can't stop people from hating us for no reason. I can't tell my son how or why this is happening to him. So... The only thing I can do is to try to take this ugly mark off my family's house. So, please, just... Let me do it.

Grace Stone: It's our family… We're supposed to be a team. This is your home… And I need you here… I need you here.

Ben Stone: I love you so much.

Michaela Stone: It is beautiful up here.

Zeke Landon: I have an idea. How 'bout we just stay up here and forget the world? I'm starting to like this place again. But I'm assuming you have something to get back to.

Michaela Stone: I'm not exactly sure. But, yeah, I should probably go deal with it. I just keep wishing that I could redo my whole re-entry, but... I'm not sure what I would've done to change the way that it turned out.

Zeke Landon: Maybe that's why I was supposed to find you... To help me change mine.

Michaela Stone: Thanks. Hey.
