Aria Gupta: This is your fault, Mr. Stone. I didn't realize we needed to make it clear returning Pete Baylor "dead or alive" wasn't an option.

Ben Stone: This is not at all how I wanted things to turn out, but I'm here to undergo testing as promised.

Aria Gupta: "How you wanted things to turn out"? Three corpses encased in glass. I read the NYPD report. I've heard your NSA debrief but I want to know what really happened.

Ben Stone: Okay. After the clock ran out on Jace's Death Date, what could only be described as his "soul" emerged from his body and killed Kory and Pete, even though we were certain they had done enough good to survive their Death Date.

Saanvi Bahl: Finished. I can start preparing his testing regimen, which he will undergo tomorrow.

Aria Gupta: No need to plan that far in the future, Dr. Bahl.

Saanvi Bahl: What? Why?

Aria Gupta: Because once you assist in Mr. Stone's regimen, Eureka will no longer require your services.

Saanvi Bahl: No, no. Excuse me. Director Vance invited us here.

Aria Gupta: Which I understand, but you've become more distracting than valuable. You've yet to bring us any new information. And you, Mr. Stone... I don't see how you could possibly retain privileges at a top-secret government facility.

Ben Stone: No, wait. Listen. Their dying upends everything for the passengers. And I realize now that we need to explore every avenue Eureka has to offer. It could lead to answers.

Aria Gupta: And those answers will be the property of the US government. Thank you for your time here.

Saanvi Bahl: Doctor...

Aria Gupta: My decision is final, Dr. Bahl.

Ben Stone: I used to be a skeptic, too… Only focused on science… But once you've been a part of enough miracles, you realize you need to give in and embrace the miracle. You need to believe what happened out there.

Aria Gupta: I never said I didn't believe you.

Drea Mikami: Helluva way to close the Meth Head case.

Jared Vasquez: Yeah. I just wish it would've happened without losing anyone.

Michaela Stone: Yeah, well, apparently, when the Callings close one door, they open a window and a million questions come flooding in.

Drea Mikami: Is there a skylight or something? 'Cause I got a couple million questions of my own.

Jared Vasquez: Welcome to my world.

Drea Mikami: What is he so smiley about? Anyway, thankfully Bowers seems to believe your take on what happened.

Michaela Stone: Yeah, thankfully.

Drea Mikami: Are you alright? I'm the one who's overwhelmed here.

Michaela Stone: What the hell is that?

Drea Mikami: What the hell is what? Oh, whoa. A Calling in real time.

Michaela Stone: Um, I'll be back.

Drea Mikami: Okay, yeah. Uh, I'll be here.

Ben Stone: We can't let her kick us out. It's the worst possible timing.

Saanvi Bahl: Oh, it's confirmed. The Meth Heads share a unique DNA marker, just like how we share our own distinct marker. Possibly explains why the death of one of them led to the death of all of them.

Ben Stone: So, by the same theory, on our Death Date, even if one of us fails the test, we all die.

Saanvi Bahl: Yes, it would be consistent. Any one of us could sink that Lifeboat.

Ben Stone: Lifeboat. That's got a certain fatalistic ring to it… Anything useful?

Saanvi Bahl: More information on our three subjects. Turns out they had unusual amounts of aluminium oxide running through them.

Ben Stone: Aluminium oxide. There were traces on my hand and the tailfin, but it's a common element, right?

Saanvi Bahl: Yeah, it is. Okay, go home and regroup. I-I've got to learn as much as I can before they show me the door.

Ben Stone: Alright. I'll be back in the morning for testing. After that, we need to find a way to stick around. This is about us… Affects us. We're gonna need a frontrow seat or we're dead.

Michaela Stone: You from 828, too?

Donovan: Yeah. You seeing what I'm seeing?

Michaela Stone: What is this place?

Eagan Tehrani: What do you think it is, Sherlock? Look at that. Seems like I can't get anywhere near a Calling without a Stone dropping by.

Michaela Stone: Who are you?

Eagan Tehrani: When it rains, it pours. That's Ben Stone. He's the one always reaching out to us about the Callings and the Death Dates.

Women: Yeah. Right.

Eagan Tehrani: So, I don't know about you, but I'm thinking that's some kind of clandestine government facility.

Michaela Stone: I have no idea what we're doing here. Or what's going on.

Eagan Tehrani: Maybe the real question isn't what we're doing here, but rather, why isn't Ben Stone on this side of the fence... With us?

Olive Stone: Come on. You've barely eaten in days.

Angelina Meyer: You told me if Pete solved the Callings, he'd survive.

Olive Stone: I... I did. What happened to Pete is something new… Something that we're all still trying to understand.

Angelina Meyer: I'm done trying to understand.

Olive Stone: Angelina, I... I really... I can't imagine what you're going through right now, but...

Angelina Meyer: I'll help you all finish packing. But when we're done, it's time for me to go.

Olive Stone: Go? Go where?

Angelina Meyer: I don't know.

Grace Stone: It hasn't been easy, but we're making good progress.

Ben Stone: Well, there's no rush, love. Take as much time as you need.

Grace Stone: Honestly, the faster I get through Tarik's stuff, the better. It's just too painful to be here.

Cal Stone: How much longer?

Grace Stone: Well, Cal, we're almost done, but the sooner you help, the sooner we can go.

Ben Stone: I feel terrible leaving you up there alone.

Grace Stone: That's fine. The girls are here with me. We'll manage. Besides, you need to bring us home some answers… And I need to attend to our littlest one.

Ben Stone: Love you.

Grace Stone: I love you.

Michaela Stone: So, I, uh, guess I know what Eureka looks like now. What I don't get is why you were there today.

Ben Stone: How'd you know I was there?

Michaela Stone: I was Called. There was a huge, dark, ominous cloud hanging over the place, and out of nowhere, you came out. I wasn't the only one Called, either. There was, uh... She was Called. He was Called. Uh, they were there. Uh, actually, he... Yeah, he was there and he said he knew you. Acted kind of smug about it.

Ben Stone: Son of a bitch. Eagan. What does he have to do with Eureka? What do... Do any of these people have to do with it?

Michaela Stone: Maybe the Calling has to do with you.

Ben Stone: Why would it be about me?

Michaela Stone: I mean, think about it. All of these people got to Eureka just in time to see you leaving. You didn't get the Calling. So, you tell me... Why is that?

Ben Stone: Come on, Mick. You know that there are a million possible answers to that.

Michaela Stone: Or maybe just one… Maybe we were Called to stop you from doing something… Why were you at Eureka, Ben?

Ben Stone: I was getting my baselines measured to go into testing tomorrow.

Michaela Stone: Well, testing what? What kind of testing?

Ben Stone: Full battery. I'm their guinea pig to poke and prod.

Michaela Stone: Oh.

Ben Stone: It was the only way to get Pete released.

Michaela Stone: Uh, I don't care what kind of deal you made with them. Why are you going through with this?

Ben Stone: We need their help.

Michaela Stone: Eureka? Since when?

Ben Stone: Since we saw Pete and Kory's life ripped out of their body. We have zero control over our own survival now.

Michaela Stone: Okay, I seriously think you're jumping to conclusions on that.

Ben Stone: Come on, Mick. I mean, for two years now, we thought we were getting closer to surviving this, one Calling at a time. Then Zeke survived, and we were certain. Follow the Callings and live. But now... Now it's all been upended.

Michaela Stone: Has it been? Because Zeke is safe at home with Beverly because of exactly what you're talking about. He followed the Callings.

Ben Stone: Yeah, but Zeke had his own Death Date. Same as Griffin. They were... Both alone in their own Lifeboat.

Michaela Stone: Lifeboat?

Ben Stone: Uh, Saanvi's term for intertwined fate. They disappeared together, they returned together, they shared the same Death Date, and what happened? Kory and Pete followed their Callings. They redeemed themselves, just like Zeke. But it wasn't enough. Jace's darkness literally dragged them to their death… He sunk their Lifeboat.

Michaela Stone: But... But he was one person, Ben… We have 184 passengers to save.

Ben Stone: Exactly. But now it's not just about us following the Callings. Now we have to make damn sure that every single passenger does the same thing. We sink or swim together.

Michaela Stone: You have no idea who o-or what would sink us.

Ben Stone: Which is why I have to go back to Eureka and test. We might find some kind of scientific work-around that can save us… Because suddenly now I have very little faith in us saving ourselves.

Cal Stone: Olive said you're not coming home with us.

Angelina Meyer: It's not my home.

Cal Stone: Well, when I was sad, my grandma used to say to me, "All good things"...

Angelina Meyer: Yeah, I know the verse, Cal. All the verses in the world have failed me, just like the Callings. I'm done with all of it.

Michaela Stone: Look, even if we don't know what the Calling means, we can't risk being wrong.

Ben Stone: Mick, I have nothing but faith in the Callings, but I'm not gonna give up on Eureka.

Michaela Stone: Don't think I'm gonna give up so easily.

Michaela Stone: What the hell?

Ben Stone: Whoa, whoa, whoa. What is this?

Eagan Tehrani: Unh-unh. We've got our own questions, Professor. Starting with, who are you working for? And what, pray tell, are they up to?

Ben Stone: Hey, come on. Can... Can we all just calm down for a second here?

Donovan: Wrong answer.

Ben Stone: Aah!

Eagan Tehrani: Well, that worked.

Michaela Stone: Ben? Hey, sorry to barge in like this. I really... My hand... Oh! Oh, my gosh! Ugh! Ben! Ben! Where the hell are you, Ben?

Ben Stone: Easy! Easy, easy.

Eagan Tehrani: Fuss! Another Calling. Another Ben and Eagan team-up! How fun is this?

Michaela Stone: I think Ben is missing.

Drea Mikami: Well, family's away. Maybe he's out. Driving range? Thai massage?

Michaela Stone: No, no, no. He... He left his phone. The... The oven was on. Saanvi hasn't hear from him.

Drea Mikami: Okay, did you call Grace?

Michaela Stone: She's literally packing up her dead brother's house right now. I'm not gonna scare her until we know more.

Drea Mikami: Okay, when's the last time you heard from him?

Michaela Stone: A few hours ago, here. We had an issue about the Calling.

Drea Mikami: The Calling that you had at the precinct? Is that connected to this? Is that how that works? I'm so overwhelmed.

Michaela Stone: The... The Calling led me to Eureka, where he was coming out, but it... It wasn't just me. It was other 828ers, too. This guy, Eagan Tehrani. He's had a history with Ben.

Drea Mikami: You think he's involved?

Michaela Stone: I don't know. I came right over to talk to Ben after Eureka. Who's to say Eagan didn't do the same?

Drea Mikami: Well, then, let's find out.

Ben Stone: What is this, Eagan?

Eagan Tehrani: I'm just following my Calling.

Ben Stone: What the hell do you care about Callings? The last time I saw you, you were only out for yourself.

Eagan Tehrani: I've followed every single Calling that's fallen in my lap. Did I skim a little off the top? Sue me. But I'm not an idiot. So when a dark cloud the size of Texas shows up in a sunny sky, I'm there. Then, to my surprise, it's Boy Scout Benny Stone, who shows up in my inbox once a week telling me how to save myself, waltzing out of some kind of super-sized evil lair. Hypocrite.

Ben Stone: If you wanted to have a Q&A, you could've just come over for coffee… You didn't have to drug me.

Eagan Tehrani: We'll have to agree to disagree. I don't trust you, big guy.

Ben Stone: You don't trust me? That's, uh... That's funny.

Eagan Tehrani: Glad you're amused. The truth. Now.

Ben Stone: The NSA is investigating 828. What happened to the flight, the passengers...

Eagan Tehrani: So you are working with the NSA. I never thought you and your sister would be playing for their team.

Ben Stone: I'm not on the government's team. I'm doing what's best for the passengers.

Eagan Tehrani: Why do you get to decide what's best for us?

Ben Stone: No, I'm not making decisions. But I know things, Eagan. I know how we can survive. I also know how we can die if we don't come together.

Eagan Tehrani: We're all sick of you constantly harassing us like some worried shepherd.

Ben Stone: Don't manipulate those people, Eagan. They deserve to know the truth.

Eagan Tehrani: You're the one manipulating us! You expect us to trust you, then we get a Calling that reveals you're actually working with the enemy.

Ben Stone: Eagan, get it through your head... They're not the enemy. Things are so much bigger now. Every 828er's fate... We're all in the same Lifeboat, and we have been ever since we were brought back to life.

Eagan Tehrani: Back to life?

Ben Stone: It's a long story, but yeah. We were resurrected.

Eagan Tehrani: Resurrected? That's what you believe? That's what the government believes?

Ben Stone: They're starting to… What are you doing?

Eagan Tehrani: What's going on in that building is dangerous. They have to be stopped.

Ben Stone: Oh, come on, you can't get that from a Calling. My sister said that...

Eagan Tehrani: Oh, come on, Ben! No one understands the Callings better than I do. I have a photographic memory, big guy. Remember? Your sister missed something.

Ben Stone: What does that mean? Eagan, what does that mean? Eagan! Eagan!

Troy: Tell me it's not true. You're out?

Saanvi Bahl: Afraid so. Vance gave me 24 hours, so I'm hoarding until then. So far, I have found aluminium oxide all over the tailfin, but also all over Ben's hand and...

Troy: And the three other returnees… Saw the autopsy. It's like they took an aluminium oxide bubble bath. How's that gonna help you stay?

Saanvi Bahl: 'Cause that is not all I found… The search led me to look for all the other commonalities. Look.

Troy: Iron, titanium, chromium, vanadium. I minored in geoscience. Together, those elements...

Saanvi Bahl: Sapphire.

Troy: Popular minor.

Saanvi Bahl: Troy, I have found sapphire on every subject that returned.

Troy: Intriguing data. The question is, what, if anything, does sapphire have to do with those events?

Saanvi Bahl: It has everything to do with them.

Ben Stone: What the hell is this place?

Cal Stone: What are you doing?

Grace Stone: Shh! I just got your sister to sleep.

Cal Stone: You can't throw away his basketball.

Grace Stone: That's the donation pile… Okay, Cal, I know this is hard. But it's hard for everyone. You haven't helped at all, and now you're messing up my piles.

Cal Stone: Yeah. They're your piles. Your brother. What about me? I didn't have a choice about coming here.

Olive Stone: Angelina! What are you doing?

Angelina Meyer: My parents are right about me. What I am. All I do is bring bad things to the people around me.

Olive Stone: No, that's not true!

Angelina Meyer: No? What happened to Pete?

Olive Stone: That's different. Pete, he...

Angelina Meyer: And what about how much I've helped your family, huh? Your mom is in the other room packing up her dead brother's clothes.

Olive Stone: That had nothing to do with you.

Angelina Meyer: Name one good thing I've done. One thing that's helped anyone.

Olive Stone: You've been my friend.

Angelina Meyer: Well, maybe it's only a matter of time before that hurts you, too.

Ben Stone: Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.

Eagan Tehrani: Hungry? Why didn't you just say so? Let me invite down our chefs. Hey, guys!

Ben Stone: Come on, Eagan. Come on… What are you, crazy? Untie me!

Eagan Tehrani: Ben, we can't have you scurrying away to your friends at Eureka to warn them we're coming… Let's get specific. The northeast wing over there. Talk to me.

Ben Stone: What about the northeast wing?

Eagan Tehrani: I told you. There was more to that Calling than meets the eye. Wasn't just a dark cloud. It was inverted. A terrifying, ominous darkness was emanating not from above, but from the ground up to the sky. Coming specifically from the northeast wing of the building.

Ben Stone: I-It's the loading dock. But I don't know why a Calling would highlight that.

Eagan Tehrani: Do I need to spell it out for you? Because whatever the Calling is telling us about that place revolves around the loading dock.

Ben Stone: Alright, look. I-I'm not gonna deny that you might be onto something, but that doesn't mean Eureka is out to get us.

Eagan Tehrani: Everyone is out to get us. Don't you remember those people who tagged all our doors?

Ben Stone: Yeah. The Xers.

Eagan Tehrani: Ben Stone. Always a cute name for everything. And now with this resurrection revelation. We all know what happened when they labelled those girls "witches" in Salem.

Ben Stone: Oh, come on, Eagan. That was centuries ago.

Eagan Tehrani: Wake up, Ben! Nothing's changed! That they even think we're resurrected means we're five minutes from this turning into Salem 2.0 and we're the warlocks. And so that leads us back to... What is in the northeast wing?

Ben Stone: I don't know… And I don't know how you think you're gonna find out.

Eagan Tehrani: I'm quite resourceful. And I have a crapload of 828ers listening to me, ready to follow my lead.

Drea Mikami: We'll find him. This guy's got to have roots somewhere.

Michaela Stone: According to Ben's notes, Eagan is off the grid, and it does not get more off the grid than this.

Drea Mikami: Okay.

Michaela Stone: This guy's literally everywhere and nowhere. He is impossible to find.

Drea Mikami: Okay, well, let's look through the file again. Maybe we missed something.

Michaela Stone: Drea, we've read this file three times, okay? Eagan could be in Kansas for all we know, okay?

Drea Mikami: Okay. Maybe let's take a break… Hey, this can't be easy... The Callings, the Meth Heads, taking care of Beverly, being a newlywed. You work with your ex every day.

Michaela Stone: No, no, no. Jared is the least of my concern, and I actually think he's moving on, so...

Drea Mikami: Dating?

Michaela Stone: Maybe. He's smiling and texting… I am just happy we're friends… Ugh, now why am I getting emails about a new refrigerator?

Drea Mikami: Damn, you got to stop giving your e-mail out at stores.

Michaela Stone: Hey, whoever sent this sent it to my old e-mail. Like, literally my first e-mail. No one has sent me anything to this account in forever. I mean, the only people who even know that this exists is m... I think Ben might be sending me a message. This fridge is registered to a zip code nearby.

Drea Mikami: Well, you don't think...

Michaela Stone: No, this is... this is Ben. It has to be.

Grace Stone: Hey, kiddo. It's getting pretty late. Maybe we should go inside… Cal, that's enough! Hey! I know you're hurting, but you can't keep acting like this… You've got to talk to me.

Cal Stone: There's nothing to talk about… Not when you're trying to erase Tarik.

Grace Stone: Erase him? Cal, I would never.

Cal Stone: You're getting rid of all of his stuff. Is that why you got rid of all my stuff, too, after 828? So you could erase me?

Grace Stone: The day you came home was the happiest day of my life. But I'll never forget the heartache I felt when you walked into your room and all your stuff was gone… I'm sorry that I couldn't keep it… I wasn't strong enough… It hurt too much… But I would never erase you… You are a part of me. Forever.

Cal Stone: Uncle Tarik's dead. And it's all my fault.

Grace Stone: No, no, no. Listen to me. What happened to Tarik is a terrible tragedy… But it was not your fault. It happened because of a very disturbed person… You are not responsible… You hear me?

Cal Stone: I miss him so much.

Grace Stone: I know.

Michaela Stone: Okay, we have better odds of finding one needle in a stack of needles.

Drea Mikami: Well, we know the appliance company delivered the fridge somewhere around here.

Michaela Stone: Yeah, the problem is, they delivered over 300, and they have no idea where the one that sent the e-mail's located. Does this even look like where someone off the grid would hide? Think about Eagan. He's probably upstate somewhere in a secluded spot.

Drea Mikami: The e-mail.

Michaela Stone: I don't know, maybe you're right. Maybe it was just spam.

Drea Mikami: While I would love to prove you wrong right now, I'm not buying it. I think you were right.

Michaela Stone: Okay, fine. Break it down.

Drea Mikami: You said he was smart. So, think about it. Yeah, someone off the grid would probably hide upstate. But someone being smart about it... Might find a way to hide out in plain sight. I mean, you said it yourself. All of these houses are identical.

Michaela Stone: Okay, but that would mean that one of these would have to be abandoned.

Drea Mikami: Not abandoned. Just not occupied.

Michaela Stone: The demo home. Hidden in plain sight.

Drea Mikami: Furnished, connected to the grid, but off the grid at the same time.

Michaela Stone: Found it.

Drea Mikami: And you didn't even need a Calling.

Michaela Stone: It's around the corner.

Aria Gupta: There's no denying we've hit a dead end. We've studied every unexplained event since Flight 828, right up to Pete Baylor and his cohorts.

Robert Vance: And we still have nothing.

Aria Gupta: I made the call. The parcel will be arriving shortly.

Dr. Bustamante: Are we really buying its validity?

Saanvi Bahl: Vance, you have to see this.

Aria Gupta: Dr Bahl, you can't barge into a...

Robert Vance: Let them talk.

Saanvi Bahl: We've been going about these tests all wrong. Every data set that we collect... From the tailfin, the Meth Heads, to Ben Stone's hand, even... We analyze them separately, in their own respective columns. They are not separate. They're all connected.

Aria Gupta: Connected how?

Troy: Each subject presented with a seemingly unremarkable residue... Aluminum oxide, iron, titanium but combined, the elements form sapphire.

Robert Vance: Wait, the... The gemstone?

Saanvi Bahl: Sapphire is the common denominator between all the disappeared and returnees. We should be isolating, analyzing, stress-testing it under the same conditions that led to 828.

Aria Gupta: Thank you both for that spirited interruption but we still have a meeting to finish here. Close the door on your way out.

Saanvi Bahl: Let's go.

Ben Stone: You go sideways now, you're not just consigning me to death. You're guaranteeing that all the pass...

Eagan Tehrani: We all die. Heard ya. Thing is, Professor, death comes for all of us. But while you're obsessing over some supposed Death Date, I'm the one actually following my Calling. I've stopped you. Now I'll stop Eureka. Before they stop us.

Ben Stone: What if I said I believed you?

Eagan Tehrani: I'd say it's a little convenient.

Ben Stone: Look, I'll admit the Calling highlighting a section of Eureka is intriguing but you're going about it all wrong.

Eagan Tehrani: Shocking you'd think so.

Ben Stone: No, it's true. I mean, you run straight at Eureka, they'll just pack up and move somewhere else. You need to be smart about it… You need someone on the inside.

Eagan Tehrani: I take it that someone is you.

Ben Stone: Yeah, not just me. There's another passenger working in there, too. Dr. Saanvi Bahl.

Eagan Tehrani: Seat 8C. Vegetarian meal.

Ben Stone: She can help us.

Eagan Tehrani: Enticing. But what reason do I have to believe you?

Ben Stone: Because I believe in the Lifeboat, Eagan. Whether you do or not. So that means I'm as reliant on you as you are on me. Screwing you over now would be screwing myself over, and that's the worst possible thing I could do for me and everyone I love… Any other passengers upstairs?

Eagan Tehrani: No. Why? What was that?

Ben Stone: Cut me loose.

Eagan Tehrani: Ben, I told you...

Ben Stone: You're not listening to me, Eagan. That's my sister upstairs, packing serious heat and by the sounds of it, she's not alone. So cut me loose, or you'll never find out what's inside that wing.

Eagan Tehrani: Guess you weren't just getting some ice from the fridge earlier.

Michaela Stone: Down on your knees! Now!

Drea Mikami: Get down! Now!

Michaela Stone: Eagan Tehrani, you're under arrest...

Ben Stone: No, no, no. Wait, wait.

Michaela Stone: Ben, what are you doing? Get out of the way.

Ben Stone: No, don't do it. This is all a... A misunderstanding.

Michaela Stone: Ben, I was at the house. Y-You're telling me you just left an oven on, you didn't take your cellphone or your wallet, to, what, hang out in a basement?

Ben Stone: Okay, what do you want me to say, Mick? I-I'm sorry for the mix-up, but that's all it was. I'm not pressing charges.

Eagan Tehrani: What do you say, Detective? Can I stand up now? My knees are killing me.

Michaela Stone: Sure. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you...

Ben Stone: Oh, come on, Mick! I said I wasn't pressing charges.

Eagan Tehrani: On what grounds?

Michaela Stone: Well, this is private property. And, Ben, I know you're not the owner.

Drea Mikami: What about all those warrants, huh? Think they just disappear? Come on. Let's go.

Eagan Tehrani: Professor! Remember which side of the fence you belong on.

Michaela Stone: You want to tell me what the hell is going on? 'Cause you're not listening to my Calling and now you don't want to press charges against a guy who's clearly abducted you.

Ben Stone: It's not that easy, Mick. We need Eagan on our side. We're all in the same Lifeboat, every 828er… We need each other.

Michaela Stone: What does needing each other mean? Because you've been gone all night. I mean, what... What did you guys discuss?

Ben Stone: Nothing.

Grace Stone: You know, when you and your dad were gone, I would sit here for hours… Days… Just looking at your stuff… Your toys… Imagining you were home playing with them… But after a while, I realized they're just things… And what I cherished most were the memories… The truth is, though, I did... I did keep a few little things that helped me feel closer to you… And you should be able to do the same.

Cal Stone: But you gave everything away.

Grace Stone: Not everything.

Cal Stone: Cool. Tarik's volcano.

Grace Stone: He always wanted to climb one… Gave it to him for Christmas. It's so cheesy. Can't believe he still had it after all these years.

Cal Stone: Well, maybe it's like you said. It's not about the thing... It's about the memory.

Angelina Meyer: I should probably get my stuff out of Cal's room so he can start unpacking.

Olive Stone: Please stay. It's okay. Look, you're even making her sad. Angelina, you're... You're not a burden. You're important to this family… And not just because of the Lifeboat, but because of you… Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh.

Angelina Meyer: She doesn't like being held like that. Come here, come here. It's okay, it's okay. It's okay.

Olive Stone: Okay, how did you just do that?

Angelina Meyer: I didn't do anything.

Olive Stone: Thank you. See? You can't go now. You're family.

Angelina Meyer: Are we family now? Yes, we are. Yeah, you and me… You and me.

Eagan Tehrani: After you lost rock, you played paper, then scissors. I knew you were gonna play rock.

Prisoner: So you were cheating, huh? So you knew?

Officer: Tehrani, let's go. You made bail.

Eagan Tehrani: Now, that, I didn't expect.

Drea Mikami: Submit report?

Michaela Stone: Yeah, submit.

Drea Mikami: 'Cause I can still go back and add that part about the invisible black cloud that led you to Eagan in the first place.

Michaela Stone: Ah, yeah, we're not gonna do that.

Drea Mikami: Yeah, I'm getting the hang of this.

Michaela Stone: You're still here?

Jared Vasquez: Um, mentally or physically?

Michaela Stone: You'd think a lieutenant could finagle his way out of a graveyard shift.

Jared Vasquez: Oh, yeah.

Michaela Stone: H-Hey, what are you... What are you doing? We just booked this perp.

Officer: He made bail.

Eagan Tehrani: Detectives, thirsty? I have extra.

Jared Vasquez: Hey, you did your job. The rest is out of your control. You know that.

Michaela Stone: Yep. You want to commiserate with us, grab some, uh, breakfast?

Drea Mikami: Um.

Michaela Stone: Oh, unless you have somewhere else you need to be.

Jared Vasquez: S-Sorry, it's just, uh, kind of like a last-minute thing. It's a call, so...

Michaela Stone: No, it's... It's cool. It's fine. It's all good. We are good. That's all that matters.

Eagan Tehrani: Of all the gin joints… I assume I have you to thank for that bailout?

Ben Stone: Remember what I said, Eagan. You asked me to remember what side of the fence I belong on. If this isn't proof, I don't know what is… Now I need something from you… Enforce the Lifeboat among your group of passengers.

Eagan Tehrani: It's a free country, Professor...

Ben Stone: No. This is life and death. Rein in your people. Starting today.

Eagan Tehrani: And if I do?

Ben Stone: It's not a negotiation. I'll look into Eureka. But understand this, Eagan… I will do anything to protect our Lifeboat. If you ever pull a stunt like this again on me, on anyone, you will regret it… I promise you.

Jared Vasquez: Hi.

Sarah Fitz: Hey… Long night?

Jared Vasquez: I've had shorter.

Sarah Fitz: Well, we can take a rain check if...

Jared Vasquez: No, believe me, this is exactly where I want to be right now. Wow. Uh... Guess playing it cool on date one is out the window.

Sarah Fitz: Oh, you don't need to apologize. And truthfully, I kept telling myself that asking you to coffee was my way of saying thank you.

Jared Vasquez: Oh, so this is not even a date. Wow. You know, I'm just gonna keep digging myself deeper and deeper here, so...

Sarah Fitz: Just drink your coffee and let me finish.

Jared Vasquez: Yes, ma'am.

Sarah Fitz: It's not every day that I meet someone who makes me feel as seen and heard, the way you made me feel… And now I'm the one who's embarrassed.

Jared Vasquez: Don't be… I kept trying to convince myself I was only interested in trying to solve the case, when, honestly, part of it was getting to spend time with you.

Aria Gupta: Packed up already?

Saanvi Bahl: Almost.

Aria Gupta: Come with me.

Saanvi Bahl: What is this place?

Aria Gupta: A new beginning. What you found earlier may be the bridge we've been looking for. M-Much like Einstein, and Copernicus before him, we might just be on the brink of changing the very definition of science as we know it.

Saanvi Bahl: You found sapphire on something else.

Aria Gupta: Sapphire may not just be a common denominator. It might very well be the signature of...

Saanvi Bahl: The divine? Is it another piece of the plane?

Aria Gupta: No. It's something much older… Unpack your things. We have work to do.
